Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, emphasising harmony, balance, and simplicity. This practice encourages mindfulness and creativity, turning the arrangement process into a meditative and expressive experience.
The session includes live demonstrations to help guide you through the creation of your own ikebana arrangements. Led by skilled artists, you'll learn techniques to balance and harmonise your designs, and take home your beautiful floral creation.
Materials are included.
Due to the prepared materials, if you book the event but then find you can't make it, please cancel the booking or notify the library as soon as possible so that your place can be released for another person and the materials are not wasted.
Brought to you by Willoughby City Library and presented by Ikebana International Sydney Chapter #36 Inc.
