National Simultaneous Storytime 2024 (3-7 years)

Join us for our annual National Simultaneous Storytime with a special guest from Willoughby City Bushland.

Please note: this is an event that was postponed.

Now in its 24th successful year, National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book that explores age-appropriate themes, and addresses key learning areas of the National Curriculum. Join us and hear our special guest read Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker, and talk about the elusive local satin bowerbird, as well as other birds in the area.

Last year, NSS had over 2 million participants at over 59 thousand locations, so come along and join in the fun!

Following the book reading, there will be songs and a craft activity.
