FAQs - Online library events

How do I register for an online event?

Register for the event via the Library or Willoughby City Council’s Events page

Once you have registered, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Eventbrite with further information.

You will get an email reminder 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.

How do I interact in an online event?

For online author talks, you can type questions into the Q&A box/or chat box once you have joined the event. You will be able to hear the presenter and view their shared screen but your microphone and camera will not be activated.

In an interactive workshop, you will be able to control the settings of your microphone and camera yourself: mute/unmute your microphone and turn on/off your camera.

You can join the event on a desktop computer, mobile device or tablet. Click on the URL emailed to the address you used to register for the event on Eventbrite.
