Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to iPad

MainImage.jpg
Develop the technology skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.

Tablets are a way of accessing the internet, playing games and communicating. An iPad tablet can do a lot of the things your computer can do, and can be used or carried pretty much anywhere.

In this workshop, participants will learn about:

  • the hardware and basic interface of an iPad
  • touchscreens and gestures
  • installing and using apps such as games, web browser, communications tools and more.

Devices (except smartphones) will be provided. Participants can also use their own iPad or tablet for the sessions.

Due to the limited places for this activity, please ensure that you can commit to the session before you book. If you register and cannot attend, please contact the Library so we can fill your place.
