Volunteering
Library volunteers make a valuable contribution to our community, while helping the library provide additional services they would not otherwise be able to offer.
Volunteering opportunities include:
- Shelving and tidying books
- Assisting with adult education classes, such as teaching English and helping with technology
- Supporting children's activities, such as Code Club, storytelling and children's events
- Volunteering with community groups, such as knitting groups, art groups and book clubs
- Researching local history
