MainImage.jpg
Develop the technology skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.

Social media sites can help you communicate and share information with others. Get to know some popular social media apps and learn about which services you can use and when.

In this workshop, participants will learn:

  • what social media is
  • how to set up profiles and accounts in some social media - for example, Facebook and Skype
  • the issue of protecting your privacy while using these services.

Devices (except smartphones) will be provided. Participants can also use their own iPad or tablet for the sessions.

Due to the limited places for this activity, please ensure that you can commit to the session before you book. If you register and cannot attend, please contact the library so we can fill your place.
