Teddy bear hospital (5-7 years)

A cute and cuddly introduction to healthcare for children - with teddies!

Macquarie University Global Health Society and Willoughby City Library presents Teddy bear hospital for children aged 5 to 7.

Teddy bear hospital is an event run by Macquarie University medical and healthcare students that teaches children how to engage with medicine and the healthcare system - with teddy bears!

The session involves four stations that the children rotate through:

  • Teddy in hospital
  • Teddy ambulance
  • hand hygiene
  • Teddy imaging.

Each station gives children an opportunity to be hands-on and get comfortable with the medical equipment relevant to that topic, while having fun.

The Macquarie University Global Health Society will provide all the required equipment, but children are welcome to bring their own teddies - the more the merrier!
