Nature photography competition exhibition 2023

Come see the wonderful photos of nature taken by the bright students of Artarmon Public! Opening day is on 20 October.

Last year the Artarmon Progress Association (APA) in partnership with Artarmon Public School (APS) and the P&C ran a nature photography competition. Following the competition, the top photographs were displayed at Chatswood Library as part of an exhibition.

This year the APA, APS and the P&C ran a similar nature photography competition in June, with this years focus on wildlife in Artarmon. Students were encouraged to submit photos of wildlife in Artarmon, with the winners announced at the Term 3 assembly.

In recognition of the student’s outstanding efforts, Willoughby City Council, in partnership with the APA, will be running another exhibition of the entries at Chatswood Library’s Creator Space. All photos taken by the students will be displayed, with the top 7 being framed.

The exhibition will be on display from 20 October to 19 November during the library opening hours.

Children under the age of 11 must be supervised by an adult at all times in the Library. This event may be filmed or photographed. Images may be used on Council websites, publications, social media channels and circulated to the press and other media organisations for publication, transmission or broadcast. If you do not wish your image to be published, please notify staff before the event.
