Library services update

Chatswood library is open Monday to Sunday.

We are delighted to welcome our community back to Artarmon, Northbridge and West Chatswood libraries.

Please check our opening hours, Conditions of Entry and available services before your visit. These may be updated at short notice according to NSW Public Health Orders and Government advice.

Conditions of Entry

  • Wearing of face masks in the library is recommended when physical distancing of more than 1.5m can not be maintained. 
  • If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home and get tested.
  • Practice good hand hygiene.
  • Do not move the furniture.
  • Please treat others, including Library staff, with courtesy and respect and follow our General Use and Behaviour Guidelines

 

 

Chatswood Library - services available

We follow NSW Health guidelines for the health and safety of our community and staff. Additional library services and longer opening hours will become available over the coming weeks, subject to Government advice.

Loans, Returns and Renewals

  • You may renew items twice, unless they have been requested by another customer. If you are unable to return your items at this time, please contact the Library for assistance.
  • Return chutes at Chatswood Library and all branch libraries are open 24/7

Reservations

  • If you have an item on reservation, you will receive an email notification when it is available for collection.
  • If you are unable to collect your reservations within the period specified please contact the Library for assistance.
