Home Library Service

The Home Library Service is free and available to residents of the Willoughby Local Government Area (LGA) who are unable to visit our libraries in-person. This includes:

  • older people
  • people living with disabilities
  • people who live in a residential aged care facility
  • people who cannot visit the library due to poor health or who are living with chronic illness
  • carers of people who fall within the above categories.

A doctor's certificate may be required to use this service.

Library materials are available in a range of languages other than English, as well as large print, audio books and regular items.

Find your local council to confirm that you are a Willoughby City Local government area resident.

There are three types of Home Library Service:

Self-Select Home Delivery

You can choose the items that you would like to read (either online or in person) and have them delivered to your home once per month.
