Be Connected - How technology helps with wellbeing and health goals

Learn how technology can be used to achieve your health goals and improve your wellbeing.

Find out what you can monitor using your smartphone and learn how smart watches can help provide a more accurate picture of your general health.

You’ll also learn about great resources you can use to maintain a healthy diet, general exercise and mindfulness and how you can incorporate these into a busy lifestyle.

  • Monitoring your health on Android phones
  • Monitoring your health on Apple iPhone
  • Resources for healthy eating
  • Resources for exercise
  • Resources for mindfulness and meditation

This event is funded through Be Connected, an Australian government initiative. Be Connected is committed to building the confidence, digital skills and online safety of older Australians. In this course, you will be introduced to Be Connected resources and will be shown how to create a Be Connected account.

This training is presented by Macquarie Community College.

Participants will need to be aged 50 years or over and agree to complete a brief registration form (for statistical purposes only).
