Have you or your children always wanted to learn coding and robotics but don’t know where to start?
Join us at Chatswood Library for an opportunity to borrow one of our Creator kits, and build and code alongside our skillful OzBerry group!
OzBerry group members will be available throughout the session to assist you should you need some support or a hand with troubleshooting.
DIY kits available during the session include:
- Edison Bots
- mBots
- Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
- Makey Makey
- Mindstorm EV3
Written instructions are provided with each kit.
Bring your own smartphone or tablet. You may need to download apps to connect to and control some Creator kits. Please bring your library card with you. If you aren't yet a library member, you can sign up by following this link: Join the library.
Suitable for ages 8+. Children using the Creator kits must be supervised by someone over 18 at all times.
Please note:
- there are limited numbers of each kit
- you may need to bring a laptop or a smartphone to work with your Creator Kit
- you will need a library card for the session
- the kits will be available on a first come, first serve basis
- OzBerry members are available to assist, but parents or guardians must supervise their child at all times.
Visitor information
Children under the age of 11 should be supervised by someone over 18 at all times in the Library.
