The Hula is a style of dance from the Hawaiian Islands where all the hand gestures are a form of sign language that tell a story about Aloha. Aloha in the Hawaiian language means 'love'.
Michelle, our dance teacher, has practiced the Hawaiian Hula dance for over 15 years, and her Hula roots come from her Hawaiian Hula school, He Makana O Aloha, in Honolulu, where Hula has been performed for several generations spreading the aloha spirit and the philosophy that 'Hula is Aloha and Aloha is for EVERYONE!'.
Michelle manages her own Hawaiian Hula dance school in Sydney.
