Over one week, children will explore a range of scientific concepts through a series of engaging experiences and hands-on activities using everyday objects. They will collect and classify, measure and experiment.
At the final session, children will have the opportunity to share their own science discoveries, at a mini science fair!
Sessions run over one week from 2 pm to 3 pm.
Session dates and topics:
- Day 1: Monday 13 January - Collecting and classifying.
- Day 2: Tuesday 14 January - Measuring and recording.
- Day 3: Wednesday 15 January- Experimenting.
- Day 4: Friday 17 January - Science fair.
Please note:
- This event is ticketed at $40.00 per ticket (plus Eventbrite fees).
- You must be a Willoughby City Library member to register for this event. Not a member? Join online for free.
- One ticket is for all four sessions.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Each child must be accompanied by an adult co-learner.
- There are only 15 spaces available.
- Damaged or lost items in the science kits might incur a replacement fee.

Children under the age of 11 should be supervised by someone over 18 at all times in the Library.
