Would you like to help develop your child’s language and literacy skills?
Listening, understanding, and speaking skills are important for good literacy. Speech pathologists work with children and families to help to build the foundations on which literacy skills develop and help support a healthy transition into literacy.
Meet a local speech pathologist, Miriam Gunnourie, enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year winning books and find out more about how you can support your child’s language and literacy development at home.
Miriam is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with over 15 years experience working with children and their families. She has worked across a number of sectors including education, research and public health and currently works in Private Practice in Lane Cove. Across all these roles Miriam brings her passion for helping children achieve their potential and supporting parents and carers so they are best able to support their child
