Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to online shopping and banking

Develop the technology skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.


In this workshop you will learn the basics of online shopping, whether you want to book a holiday or buy groceries. We'll walk you through the process of buying something online, and you will also learn how to stay safe online for banking and shopping.

We'll discuss why online banking is safe and secure, and how you can save time when you pay your bills online. You'll also learn how to browse, buy, and sell on the internet using websites such as eBay.

Devices (except smartphones) will be provided. Participants can also use their own iPad or tablet for the sessions.

Due to the limited places for this activity, please ensure that you can commit to the session before you book. If you register and cannot attend, please contact the library so we can fill your place.
