Develop the technology skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.


Join us to learn how to select the right internet plan that meet your needs and manage the costs associated with connecting to the internet.

This workshop covers:

  • What plans are available.
  • What type of internet connection you need.
  • Is there just one type of broadband?
  • How fast your internet connection needs to be.
  • What information you can find on your bills.
  • What download limit is best for you.
  • How you check your usage meters.
  • Helpful hints when choosing a plan.

Devices (except smartphones) will be provided. Participants can also use their own iPad or tablet for the sessions.

Due to the limited places for this activity, please ensure that you can commit to the session before you book. If you register and cannot attend, please contact the library so we can fill your place.
