Learn to sew, connect with others and create something amazing! Join our adult sewing group every Tuesday. All skill levels welcome!


Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this group is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your sewing skills and meet other sewing enthusiasts in the community.

Our knowledgeable and friendly sewists will be on hand to offer guidance, answer questions, and share tips and tricks. Whether you're interested in making clothing, home decor, or accessories, our sewing group is the perfect place to get started.

For most sessions, you will be required to bring your own fabric. Make sure to read the requirements and fabric suggestions provided below each session.


21, 28 May, 4 June 2024 - womens t-shirts.

This project will span three weeks to complete. You only need to book for 21 May for the three sessions.

Requirements - You will need to bring the following materials:

  • 150cm knit fabric with 50% horizontal stretch - 2 metres.

Note: for knit fabrics that are less than 150cm wide, it is recommended to purchase 2.5 metres of fabric.


11, 18 June 2024 - unfinished project - tote bag

This project will take two weeks to complete. You only need to book for 11 June for both the two sessions.

Requirements - You will need to bring the following materials:

  • 1 metre of heavy non-stretch cotton fabric like duck, canvas, drill or upholstery, for the tote bag.
  • 1.5 metres of cotton webbing for the strap. (Or make a fabric strap from the same or different fabric as the tote)

Please note: This event is for adults only.
