Art exhibition: BELONGING

BELONGING is an exhibition uniting established and emerging artists, showcasing the power of art in fostering diversity and social inclusion. These artists share their unique journeys, which for some, have been marked by challenges. From university students to practicing artists and retirees, they come from various art backgrounds and genres, all driven by a common purpose: the compulsion to create, the desire to communicate and inspire, and perhaps the aspiration to cultivate a sense of belonging.

Art is, after all, for everyone.

I.COUNT.Funds4Action is a small community group formed in 2021 to promote and support disability rights through events, workshops and direct action.

Living mostly on the North Shore with two overseas members, they come from different professional and cultural backgrounds, bound together by a passion for fairness, diversity and social inclusion.

The group has supported art and craft workshops and activities that promote mental health and are beneficial to people at risk of isolation and marginalisation. 

BELONGING is the group’s pilot art event.

Opening event: Sunday 3 December - 2pm.
