Fourth Avenue end of Telford Lane, Willoughby East
Originally on one of James William Bligh’s grants, Telford Lane runs from Fourth Avenue to Eastern Valley Way and has been classified by the National Trust. It was named in honour of Thomas Telford a civil engineer. Telford invented the “Telford type” of road construction of which this lane is an example.
