Be Connected - OpenCities.jpg
Come and learn how to manage apps on your mobile devices.

These days, it seems that everyone is talking about apps. You may have already heard of them, or you may be wondering what they are and why they are important. In this workshop, we will explain what an app is.

While there are apps for laptop and desktop computers, this workshop will focus on apps for mobile devices, like smartphones and tablets.

This workshop covers:

  • What is an app?
  • Introduce different types of apps
  • How to add, delete and manage apps.

This workshop is presented by volunteers from Acoustic Blinds and Curtains, a Be Connected partner, based on Be Connected eresources. Be Connected is an Australian government initiative committed to increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians.
