Be Connected - Selling online on Gumtree

This workshop will introduce you to the process of safely selling items on Gumtree.

You’ll be shown the selling process from start to end, including what to expect once you have sold an item.

You will also learn about your responsibilities as a seller on Gumtree and what you can do to improve your chances of selling an item.

This workshop covers:

  • What to sell online
  • How to sell online using Gumtree
  • How to pay (Paypal) using Gumtree
  • Other selling online options (e.g. Facebook Marketplace, eBay)
  • Selling online security.

Be Connected is an Australian government initiative committed to increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians. This workshop is presented in conjunction with volunteers from Acoustic Blinds and Curtains, a Be Connected partner, and is based on Be Connected resources.
