The cloud can be used to share information, including your location, photos and even how to locate a lost device. It’s good to know how to do this and how to switch off sharing if you change your mind.
This workshop looks at the different types of cloud services available, depending on what brand and type of device you use. We will demonstrate how to use these services.
This workshop covers:
- What is the cloud?
- How does the cloud work?
- Introduction of cloud options, e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, icloud
- How to share and backup photos and files with Google Drive.
This workshop is presented by volunteers from Acoustic Blinds and Curtains, a Be Connected partner, based on Be Connected resources. Be Connected is an Australian government initiative committed to increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians.
