Mahjong has been around for hundreds of years. The game originated in China centuries ago and features colourful tiles meant to be arranged in specific combinations for a winning hand.
Studies show playing Mahjong is good exercise for your brain. It helps improve concentration and logical thinking, enhances your memory and relieves stress.
It could also be a relaxing way to connect with people from different backgrounds. Playing Mahjong is fun and easy to learn.
Please join the USYD Mahjong Society to learn how to play Mahjong (Hong Kong style).
Suitable for adults and ages 16+.
This event is facilitated by the Sydney University Mahjong Society.
