MainImage.jpg
Experience thinking and collaborating like an engineer by building, coding and battling robots!

Bring your friends, collaborate and battle it out against other teams in this robotics workshop facilitated by Robogals UNSW at Chatswood Library.

Sumo Bots is Robogals most popular workshop, where students construct robots, customise them to their preferences and program them to push each other out of a ring. This is a competitive workshop where each group battles for supremacy in the sumo ring.

Robogals is a student-run organisation that aims to engage young women and gender diverse students in engineering from a young age, with the long-term goal of increasing female enrolment in engineering, science and technology courses at universities.

Participants do not need prior programming knowledge. This workshop is a great way to heighten problem solving, critical thinking skills and technical aptitude.

This workshop is suitable for primary and secondary school students.
