Practice building, animation, computing and coding with a variety of Creator Kits at your own pace.
Kits available include:
- mBots
- Makey Makey
- Stikbots and Stikbot Scorch
- Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.
Instructions provided.
Please arrive 15 minutes before session starts, to allow time to borrow Kits.
Bring your own smartphone or tablet. You may need to download apps to connect to and control some Creator Kits.
Suitable for ages 8+. Children using the Creator Kits must be supervised by someone over 18 at all times.
This event is available in two sessions:
Session one: Saturday 22 April 2023, 10am - 12pm
Session two: Saturday 22 April, 2023, 2pm - 4pm
Please note:
- You will need a library card to use the Creator Kits
- Creator Kits are for Library use only
- There are limited numbers of each kit
- The Kits will be loaned on a first come, first serve basis
- Limit of one Creator Kit per Library card
- These sessions are self-guided.
Visitor Information
Children under the age of 11 should be supervised by someone over 18 at all times in the Library.
