Would you like to help develop your child's language and literacy skills?
Listening, understanding, and speaking skills are important for good literacy.
Speech pathologists work with children and families to help to build the foundations on which literacy skills develop and help support a healthy transition into literacy.
Meet your local speech pathologist, Elle, enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia's Book of the Year winning books, and find out more about how you can support your child's language and literacy development at home.
Elle is a speech pathologist with over 10 years' experience, working across a range of settings, including: not for profit organisations, private practice and now a special school. Elle has worked with children and adults with a range of backgrounds and abilities. She has a passion for working with children of all ages, with a particular interest in early intervention and disability. She has had her own work published in the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology.
