Speech pathologists work with children and families to help to build the foundations on which literacy skills develop and help support a healthy transition into literacy.
Meet your local speech pathologist, Denise Chan, enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year winning books and find out more about how you can support your child’s language and literacy development at home.
Denise Chan has over 4 years of experience working as a speech pathologist in a not for profit organisation. She is passionate about working with preschoolers and school-aged children and their family using the strength-based and client-centred approaches. Her special interests include language, speech sounds and working with multicultural families.
