Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to video calling (Zoom and Skype)

Develop the technology skills and confidence to get connected and participate in the online world.

In this workshop, participants will explore different video calling apps and learn how to:

  • use video calling in different aspects of their lives
  • make video calls to one or more people
  • join and leave video calls
  • control audio and video during a video call
  • set up a video call to look and sound good
  • practice perfect video calling etiquette
  • protect their privacy.

Devices (except smartphones) will be provided. Participants can also use their own iPad or tablet for the sessions.

Due to the limited places for this activity, please ensure that you can commit to the session before you book. If you register and cannot attend, please contact the library so we can fill your place.
