Reader pen

The C-Pen Reader pen scanner is a portable pocket-sized device that uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to take pictures of text and reads text out aloud with an English, Spanish or French digital voice. The reader pen is great for anyone learning English, Spanish or French and can be used as a supportive tool for those with reading difficulties such as dyslexia.  

Borrowing a Reader pen:

  • Available to all library members to borrow for a period of three weeks with no renewals.
  • Items are available to reserve.
  • Items are issued and are to be returned at the Welcome Desk.
  • Damaged or lost items will incur a replacement and processing fee.
