The year is 1926 and a young Agatha Christie becomes involved in investigating the unsolved murder of the goddaughter and namesake of Florence Nightingale, who is found with her skull caved in on a train to Hastings.
When the police investigation and subsequent public outcry fails to bring the killer to justice, Florenceās partner turns in desperation to Agatha in the hope that she can succeed where the police failed, and catch the cunning and very dangerous killer.
